Birštonas is a unique (year-round) Lithuanian resort, the history of which dates back to the Middle Ages, but today it is best known as the “Royal” place of rest and entertainment; its surroundings have long been famous for their amazing nature, healing mineral springs, forests and especially clean air. Here you can relax and regain strength (in sanatoriums and SPA centers), take advantage of the healing properties of mineral water, mud treatments, spend a romantic time. Birštonas is famous for its attractions - Vytautas Hill, Kurhaus, Birštonas observation tower, "Drukupis" (a room for the evaporation of mineral water, where vacationers can try inhalations in the open air), the Resort’s Central park, "Kneipp" therapy (S. Kneipp philosophy - a unique technique recovery, developed and improved by the German priest S. Kneipp. Everything that exists in nature, can be used for the benefit of man.
